If you have any questions about data protection, contact us at simon@slowood.sk.
We only process the data you enter yourself in the “Request a design” form on our website:
We do not collect any other personal data through the website. Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot send you a design proposal.
We use your name and email address solely to contact you and send you a design proposal and a quote tailored to your request.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We do not use your data for marketing, newsletters or profiling, and we make no automated decisions based on it.
We keep your data only while we are discussing the design and quote with you, and for no longer than 12 months after you submit the form. If we do not go on to work together, we then delete it.
If the quote leads to an order, we continue to process the data to perform the contract and to the extent required by law (for example, accounting and tax rules).
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Only the technical service providers we use to run our website and email may have access to it, and only to the extent strictly necessary, acting as our processors.
We process your data within the European Union. If any provider were to process data outside the EU, this would happen only with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR (such as standard contractual clauses).
You have the right to:
Just send your request to simon@slowood.sk. We will handle it without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.
You may also contact the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live.
We may update this policy if the way we process data changes. The current version is always published on this page.
Effective from 1 October 2026.
